These Terms define electronic service provision rules, account usage conditions, moderation rules, and Student Plus handling within VNI.

The document reflects requirements under Polish electronic services law, consumer rights law, and notice-and-action principles for user content.

1. Service provider details

The service provider is the Foundation: Międzynarodowy Instytut Działań i Edukacji na Rzecz Bezpieczeństwa.

2. Definitions

  • VNI / Service: the digital service ecosystem including web, iOS app, backend, and complementary features.
  • Account: a set of resources and permissions assigned to a user after registration/login.
  • User: a person using VNI services under these Terms.
  • Student Plus: paid subscription-based digital feature package offered via App Store.
  • User Content: materials posted or submitted by users (for example offers, messages, reports, project descriptions).

3. Service scope

  • Account handling and user personalization.
  • Study organization modules (schedule, deadlines, grades, progress indicators).
  • AI features supporting study analysis and planning.
  • Collaboration and communication layers, including UniTrip/P2P and project offers.
  • Administrative features, reporting, and content moderation mechanisms.

4. Technical requirements

  • Internet access and a current browser for the web version.
  • Apple device compatible with currently supported iOS versions for mobile usage.
  • An active email address and properly configured user account.
  • For selected features: enabled third-party integrations (for example USOS, App Store).

5. User account rules and responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for providing accurate data and protecting login credentials.
  • Illegal content and content infringing rights, personal interests, or user safety is prohibited.
  • Actions intended to destabilize services or bypass safeguards are prohibited.
  • The provider may temporarily restrict service access due to technical works, security concerns, or Terms violations.

6. User content, reporting, and moderation (notice-and-action)

Users can report content they consider illegal or non-compliant by sending a notice to the contact email.

Notices should include a clear description, contact details, and an identifier of reported content.

  1. After receiving a notice, the provider reviews it and may apply temporary or final measures (for example visibility restrictions, removal, account limits).
  2. Users affected by moderation decisions may submit an email appeal.
  3. Appeals are reviewed individually, based on available evidence and applicable law.

7. Student Plus and payments

  • Student Plus subscriptions are purchased and billed through App Store In-App Purchase.
  • Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are handled according to Apple rules and user Apple ID settings.
  • Premium access depends on active subscription status confirmed by the payment system.

8. Complaints

Complaints regarding VNI services can be submitted to: jaroslawgrasza@gmail.com.

  • A complaint should include contact details, issue description, and expected resolution.
  • The provider responds without undue delay, typically within 14 calendar days.

9. Consumer information and digital services

  • Before contract conclusion, users receive information required by consumer law (service characteristics, provider details, payment and complaint rules).
  • For digital content/services, withdrawal right exceptions may apply after performance starts with explicit consent and prior acknowledgement of withdrawal right loss, as required by law.
  • Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

10. Termination and account deletion

  • Users may stop using the service and request account deletion through in-app options or by email.
  • After deletion, data is removed or anonymized, except where retention is legally required or needed for security.
  • The provider may terminate or limit access in case of material Terms violations.

11. Final provisions

  • These Terms are available free of charge on the VNI website and can be saved by users.
  • Polish law and applicable EU law govern matters not explicitly covered herein.
  • Terms updates are published on the website with an effective date.

These Terms form the standard contractual framework for VNI digital services within applicable law.
